Problem statement
Health is all about data. Without accurate data, health practitioners are unable to adapt treatment. What we eat and how we exercise goes hand in hand when it comes to health, but missing information can lead to inaccurate diet or exercise plans.
Proposed solution
A 2-way communication platform capturing data from both the practitioner and patient side. These apps will log goals, activities and progress from both sides, keeping both parties up to date with the current health status of the patient.
My role
I worked on every part of this system, from UX research and UI design, to Frontend and Backend development.
Process & execution
Research was done on how other platforms and practitioners overcome these issues. This research was used to created user journeys and wireframes within FigJam. The research was then used to create AI powered prototypes using tools such as Lovable and Figma Make. A UI direction was then taken and designs were made in Figma. The project was then built inside an NX Monorepo using NuxtJS for the frontend and NestJS for the backend.
Key features
Two way communication between practitioner and patient applications.
Flexible diet plans which can be customised and fitted to patient needs.
Flexible exercise plans with exercise example videos.
Long term data analytics showing progress and growth.
Gamification on the patient app to motivate users and keep them engaged.
Outcome
The system simplifies complex workflows, strengthens practitioner-patient collaboration, and turns data into actionable insights.
