Problem statement
When MasterCraft Contracting contacted me, they had no online presence at all. They wanted a brand and marketing website that reflected who they are, a high quality African contracting company.
Proposed solution
Create a brand and website that blends African like patterns with modern contracting craftsmanship. Make use of common colours and visuals seen within the African landscape as well as within construction sites.
My role
I had to create their logo and full brand guidelines. This was followed with me creating a marketing website to start their online journey.
Process & execution
I started visual with research on construction and African themes. This was translated into a visual mood board in Figjam which the client had to sign off on. From there, I created the logo and branding elements within Figma. Once approval was given, the brand guidelines was created and used when creating the UI for the website. The website development then followed. The marketing site was built using NextJS, ensuring fast performance and a clean, modern frontend.
Key features
The logo was used to create African-like patterns.
Smooth interactions to keep website visitors engaged.
The idea of technical drawing lines throughout the website to align content.
Outcome
The final result is a premium contracting brand with a modern African aesthetic that positions MasterCraft Contracting as a high-end, trustworthy service provider.
